Let's talk about that BB3 preview!

So this is great news. And it will be in BB3?

EDIT: Now I see that a lot of stuff is happening on Discord. The most active is Discord, then Twitter, then this forum, next is Facebook, then game page and the least active is Youtube. So media I have used to are not really informative. I have discovered PP thanks to Facebook, then looked to official page, then youtube, then this forum, I have checked discord from time to time but I didn’t liked it, and recently I have set up an account on Twitter. World is changing.

[hype intensifies] @_@

BTW I love the frequent updates that happen recently on the twitter page, but I’m also worried the devs eventually will run out of content! Snapshot team, please keep some of the awesome stuff for the 2019 release

Since we are yet to see three of the four factions and their classes, skills, havens, buildings and vehicles, I wouldn’t be afraid of that

And further bosses and enemies and mutations. And the story and lore elements the devs said won’t appear in any Backer’s Build, but only in the final release. So yeah, not running out of content any time soon

yeah the Discord server is by far the most active place, though it does take a bit of getting used to

Just in case someone didn’t check his/her inbox: BB3 will be out on monday. And here there’s the feature list.

Nice list, but almost all of it was mentioned.

Interesting part about geoscape is about building refueling stations, finding other Phoenix Bases, and that there will be havens of all other factions or at least screen suggest something like that. But I suppose that missions won’t generate in those havens - only in neutral ones. I wonder if we will see there some civilians or noone or other NJ soldiers?

In squad management it is strange for me that you select 3 pieces of armour equipment: one for head, one for chest and one for all the other body parts and that there will be some attachements? There is some new kind of ammo - maybe for Armadillo? I wonder if items pool will be common for all bases or we will need to transport equipment between them to be able to give them to each soldier in that base.

I didn’t expect neutral havens to be available as environments.

Also I did’t know that Mindfraggers will take control of your soldier. I expected them to disable your soldier, but taking control seems way more dangerous.

Oh, that is a sneaky little surprise! And a bitter one, because I would not support/preorder the game in 2017 if I knew I cannot play it… Well, now I have to unsubscribe and go looking for other games to put hopes into :<

As per the email, if you get in touch with us at contact@snapshotgames.com we can issue you a refund.

Even Phoenix Point won’t convince you to buy Windows?

There should be a Linux version in the end.

and there is no title that should convince you to pay for bloated half spyware with quite bad apps included. Most useless peace of plagiarism ever released (see Apple vs M$ and similar). Sadly, it had a pickup “due to clone wars”.

nice… shotgun, grenade launcher, missile launcher is now an attachment to heavy’s armour (so no longer as prepared item), those multistore buildings, those damn fraggers jump too far!, and those sentinels (causing panic, generating mist, triggering hatch of mindfraggers). I love it!

Monday evening will be too short for sure.

Is this BB3+ only, or for the end game (not the refund, but the Linux unsupport)

As they mentioned they would like to release on Linux, but at this time it is postponed. So there is small hope for final release, I think.

I guess I can wait with the rage-refund-quitting until the unsupport thing will be resolved one way or another, like after the final release >_<’

one day 23 hours, forty minutes and 5 seconds. That’s just teasing us, sending us a email with the countdown to BB3. You find yourself watching it like you would a kettle.
one day 23 hours, thirty nine minutes and 20 seconds.

I think that I will take a leave on Tuesday.

Well, video games have to abstract somewhere.

This is more granularity than in X-COM or XCOM, but less than in Apocalypse.

I woke this morning thinking it was Monday. Life can be so cruel sometimes.
