I played internal test DLC2, Community Councillor
could you go into more detail, just new maps and music doesn’t sound worth it to me. How about gameplay mechanics.
If we talk about Necronomicon update, the pace changed, new Pandoran Evolution with mutations make the core game more interesting,
you don’t have so many Haven defence, and you focus in new missions (7) and ancient sites (6 different maps)
new DLC is offering weapons(6), a real challenge taking control of the new sites and defending while you extract and process the resources, new and dangerous enemies
The game is more polished , also new SP system with 5 instead of 10 SP per mission forces you to think how you use your SP , you can’t get 30/20/20 quickly now
so , in general a better experience with more strategic decisions
That’s on Legendary difficulty, I assume? The number of SP per mission varies now, I’m playing on Veteran and it’s +8 SP per mission.
Did they tinker with weapon sound? Just did my first mission and weapons sound more meaty to me. Or perhaps I just got used to Synedrion weapons from previous campaign.
It is constant dependant on difficulty level.
Question is about new Pandorans. So not entirely correct answer. But some of our ‘old friends’ will get new abilities, which kind of makes them new.

But Pandoran Umbra and the “thing” is part of the update, right

that’s true, I forgot that I only play Legend, sorry

Yes. I meant that it varies depending on difficulty.
