Wasn’t really a problem at first, but after a few days became apparent. There is a long boot time from me clicking the .exe file to the launcher actually opening. Once its open everything is good, but its normally 10 minutes or so…
Occasionally it simply doesn’t launch, and i have to go kill the process and try again.
Try checking if windows has compressed the files to save space. It did for me and everything became sluggish, but the problem went away as I told windows not to so.
Hope it helps.
I have this exact same issue (which is stated in the OP). I thought the excessive sluggishness was a symptom of me having a weak pc but I feel it can’t just be that. (game remains unplayable for me until low graphics settings are implemented).
I think there are some optimization problems: I can hardly play it with a reasonable resolution (800x600) and even at the lowest (in windowed mode) it doesn’t get better. I checked drivers, GPU usage and the compression, but nothing changed. I hope it gets better in later builds.
to you load from SSD or HDD?
It’s from an HDD.
Honestly the game is 100% fine once its running, I can run at full resolution no hiccups.
I will see about the compression issue, that may resolve it.
Yeah, mines acting up now aswell.
I try to run it but the splash screen is slow and stuttery, then it just uses alot of cpu load for a while before it stops responding.
