Seems the latest patch breaks my game where each battle shows 2 loading screens then back to the desktop.
Then starts to work for another 2 battles??
never did this before?

did nothing but eventually started to work again??
odd, but happy now 
I also had this intermittently in my campaign. After trying reloading, restarting, reverifying the files and all that jazz I had to use a cheat engine to issue the /win command. That got me through the battle and back into the strategic game.
