I found you can damage parts of the body with explosives but it seems to be immune to weapons fire, as you can see in the image I am unable to move the vehicle out which means I can’t evac it, rather annoying…

[update] sniper fire destroys the body as well but the other smaller bodies also seem to be blocking the vehicle travel which is kind of ridiculous.

Funnily enough I had the exact situation in reverse. A dead Aspida body blocking that same location with a mind controlled worm blocked one cell to form a wall to force enemies to go the long way while I smashed the scyalla.
Sycalla body parts are individually rigged so explosives and weapon damage should destroy them. I remember removing a Scyalla dead body this way in one of the missions.
