Phoenix Point Crashing randomly at missions Ram Crash 0x0000000, writen couldn't load

Hello my dear Phoenix Point Combatants,

i have a big problem while Streaming Phoenix Point. Every time i stream Phoenix Point at some point (and several times a streaming night) i get crashes and can’t start a mission. It appears randomly and can happen with every mission. I am streaming with OBS.

The following problem is occuring: Die Anweisung 0x00007FF0C77DEC0 verwies auf Arbeitsspeicher bei 0x0000029EEBBEB000. Than there is that procedure writen couddnt load.

After this problem i have to reboot my system, because other programs are getting issuses as well.

I have never seen this problem before and it’s only if i stream phoenix point. The only way to pass this problem is than to reboot, start the mission and than restarting the stream again. But after a while, some missions after it, it will come back and crash again.

Something is causing problems in reading the ram with PP and OBS.

I don’t know how to change this problem. I would be a pity to not being able to stream that awesome game. Especially where my viewers are my soldiers i command through the missions and story is getting very interesting. Also i only have this problem with Phoenix Point.

Anyone perhaps can help or has any idea?

My PC Specs are (if its helping):

  • win 10 pro
  • AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core 3,6ghz
  • 16 gig Ram
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER
  • 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX LP DDR4-3200 DIMM CL16 Dual Kit
  • ROG Strix B450-F Gaming Mainboard

Many thanks in advance,

it hangs only when you stream, or without streaming it also happens?

Hello Yokes,

i don’t really know. I think it hangs only when i stream. But i havent played it much off stream, almost never. But i tested it today on stream twice with OBS it crashed and crashed all my programs. Than i testet it with Xsplit, and crased also, also with all my programs. I had to reboot three times. So its not an OBS only issue.

It always happens if a mission get startet and happens during the loading screen. Also i havent had any problems a few patches ago. Can’t say exactly when it was fine.

Thx for the quick answer!

One wonders if this it tied to the Unity Engine update and Snapshot’s update. You might try sending an F12 bug report just prior to launching a mission explaining what happens. Hopefully, the output log can give them a clue.

Thanks for detailed description. We can look into it if you send us these 2 files to support@snapshotgames.com:

  1. Your output_log.txt file. It is located here: C:\Users[USERNAME]\AppData\LocalLow\Snapshot Games Inc\Phoenix Point

  2. Crashdump logs - they should be generated after crash. They are located here: C:\Users[USERNAME]\AppData\LocalLow\Snapshot Games Inc\Phoenix Point\Crashes
    (or here C:/Users/[USERNAME]/AppData/Local/Temp/Snapshot Games Inc/Phoenix Point/Crashes)

Hey Valygar,

thanks a lot for the answer. I have send an e-mail right now. The only problem is that i don’t have the Crashdump logs. The folder doesnt exist. I was also searching all my hard disks but its not even in the pp folders. The only thing what i found are several dmp files with phoenix point in their name and what could be it. They are very large but i will try to send them!

Thanks

I tried the path myself.
You have to change the visibility! The “AppData” folder is invisible.

I did  They are visible! It’s just not in the faulder! But its in a win10 faulder.
