Then we are just in the realm of wild conspiracy theories. Killing a whole family so they wouldn’t ask questions? There already is a system in the US where people are given a star on the wall in the CIA and most are identified. Even for those that aren’t, we know someone died.
Didnt read everything here. But just seeing such a large topic exists on this forum defending the existence of rage bursting a freaking sniper weapon. How people want completely broken mechanics to work. My hope of ever getting a quality game for my money without all these stupid surrealistic skills is crushed once again
I repeat myself: Just don’t use rage burst.
Ehm, I dont intend to play this game at all.
There is so much that dont make sense in this game. Rage bursting snipers is just one thing.
Im just saying i lost hope for this game ever to be something enjoyable and fun after reading this post halfway 2020.
Its like asking for a chessgame with only queens and call it balanced and fun. And apparently 120 posts are still not enough to explain how broken that chessgame would be. Thats enough for me to shake head and forget about this game once and for all
Actually, if you read the whole thread, you will see that it contains people arguing for both sides.
I’m on the side of those who feel that Rage Bursting Snipers are ridiculous, but I also get that other people may want to play the game differently to me and have a different perspective, which is why I’m arguing for Second Wave Options.
The devs listen to well-made arguments and respond to them if they feel that the point has been made.
Personally, while I would switch RB’ing Snipers off if I had the option, I don’t want to deny other people the chance to play this game the way that they see fit.
That said: I’ve always believed that the devs intended RB only to work for machine-guns, and got caught out by the multi-classing Sniper loophole, which never got spotted in the Backer Builds cos no-one really had time to get that far. Hence the reason why it got nerfed to 5 rounds - the size of a Deceptor magazine.
Around 50% of the contributions deal with other topics (armor break, assault rifle, save scumming).
Clearly the most (at least in this thread) are in favor of a change (see likes and posts from members). Probably the most players would also support the second wave option, but this is not planned (at least not on canny).
The thing is: At release, Snapshot distributed a lot of sweets (super skills) with which you can get caries (break the game) if you fully enjoyed them. Once you’ve got an overdose, you don’t understand how something like that can be in a tactical game (including me). It is now up to the Devs to decide whether to leave the sweets to everyone or replace them carefully with healthier fructose. Of course, some will cry because they no longer want to give away the sweets.
With radical and tough self-enforcing restrictions (which I don´t like), PP can look like an excellent tactical game. But if you take advantage of all the “allowed” rules of the game, PP can also act like an experimental training simulator to the point of complete absurdity. With the sweets, PP is not fish and not meat and, in my opinion, does not lead to success. But that is clearly the job for Devs.
free AP Dash, RtT, RC; ArmBr, AdrR; QA+Acc … … …
Much was obvious, but everyone wanted to believe in the best.
I suppose I was arguing with you about something else. And here we have common sense. Believe me, things will change.
And even if full game will not represent all reasonable solutions there will be definitely at least one mod that will alter all those ridiculous ideas. It may be somewhere in the mid of 2021 but eventually it will show up.
A workshop for mods is much needed!
Ye so for me, considering its already summer 2020, I give up believing in this game.
You can go left or right, but this game seems to be stuck in the middle.
Because they want to keep everyone who is still on the boat, to still stay on the boat.
If 50% of the people who read this topic finds RB on sniper rifles is a good idea you should consider its ONLY 50% of the people who STAYED. If you consider the whole market, including those who left the game because they played the game, saw all these weird skills such as RB on sniper rifles, free AP Dash, RtT, RC; ArmBr, AdrR; QA+Acc, thought WTF and left the game, then the % of people who likes RB on sniper rifles might be just 1 or 2 % of your market.
Its called survivorship bias.
I see too much focus from Snapshot on what the active players base wants. Putting armour on the wrong spots of the plane.
Thats why you still see these long debates about obvious broken skills far in 2020 that should have been removed ages ago.
And even so, this is an optimistic option for entering Moding.
And this is clearly understood by all fans who have been following the game since the start of 2016. IMO with BB5, something completely went wrong (And this is not the EGS).
