I know this is probably a design decision and not a bug, but I watched a streamer try a hive assault but he couldn’t get to the spawnery without running out of ammo, so he fell back and failed the mission with no losses. However all of the enemies he killed (and there were many) he didn’t get exp for.
I understand not getting mission goal exp of course, but shouldn’t exp from kills still stick around after a failed mission? Even if there’s some failure penalty %. The soldiers got that combat experience, success or not.
