So I picked up Phoenix Point Ultra Edition back in 2019. With Menace coming out soon, I was in the mood for some more Phoenix Point in the meantime, but the game won’t start…
Click launch and nothing happens, the game shows Running in the epic launcher then it just changes back to the Launch option… no new windows open, I see nothing in my task manager and there’s no error messages except an LS-00013 when I set both Epic and the game’s exe to Run as Admin. I’ve gone through all the trouble shooting steps, still nothing. Same issue. I tried downloading the Heroic Games Launcher and starting the game on my Steamdeck… same problem… the Steamdeck game start screen appears then it just closes back to my Steam library after a few seconds…
Seeing as how people have had zero problems on Steamdeck and Win 11, I’m not sure what the hell my unique problem is, I’m running a core i9 13900KS and an RTX 4090 with 32 gigs of ram… Windows is up to date, gfx drivers are up to date, verified install, verified the common redistributables… I HAD played the game before, but it was on an older PC.
edit: I should mention I sent an email using the email associated with this forum account to support with my logs and dxdiag, just in case that’s relevant.
