Blowing up floor tile with objective made mission unclearable

doing “seeking the firebird” mission

encountered a scenario where standing on the objective tile did nothing:

reloaded autosave before the mission, started mission again, and the objective tile was one floor above the tile in the screenshot. I had been firing the scarab at one of those poison worm launcher things behind the building for several turns so I’m pretty sure I blew up the objective tile.

Should probably add a mission fail condition for this case, rather than just leaving me to wonder why nothing’s happening.

Agreed, similarly, you can destroy stairs leading to objective in e.g. Sinedrion mission. Sometimes in steal research missions, there are more points then needed - just in such case. Having optional goal point 2 is easier to implement solution, or algorithm that would place it in lower floors.
