It’s right what I quote, people buy games with unclean state at release, not for cars.
If you don’t wait one week past release then you have your part of responsibility in current state. Say it’s “they” won’t work.

My conscience is clean, PP was a Christmas gift that I didn’t know I was getting. I absolutely would not have bought it. I was in fact content to wait for the Steam release, for the workshop support.
But just because I didn’t pay for it myself doesn’t mean that it was okay for Snapshot to sell my friend, or anyone else here (even you Z, believe it or not) a beta dressed up as a final release.
Cute “gotcha” attempt tho
Lol gg. Ok you need educate your family.
This insistence to refuse learn from your/their past errors is a bit bizarre. Don’t buy games at releases if you are so picky on games states, wait one week or even more to get the temperature.
Which past errors are they Z? Please give me one example of a past error I or “my family” made in our purchasing history. You seem to believe there are multiple instances (“errors” plural) so just one example should be super duper easy.
Edit: Regardless, the “the this is the way things are now and that’s that. ur stupid” excuse is horsewater. If I hired a spooky clown on retainer to follow you around and jumpscare you every day and night for the rest of your life until that was just the way things were, I bet you’d actually be pretty keen to change that.
OK @Zzzz and @Lunazathoth - This isn’t constructive and is just descending into getting personal. Let’s get this topic back on the rails so that I’m not forced to lock it.
Couldn’t agree more, that whole derailment was utterly meaningless and I apologise for taking the bait.
One thing I’ll completely agree with above is enemy variety.
Rather than evolving existing Pandoran enemies (due to player tactics) why not instead, do as the XCOM games do it, and instead gradually replace the enemies with new ones.
Another thing I’d like to see would be art included with the alien autopsies. Just having text only is so blah. XCOM did this great with art of the aliens dissected on a research / medical bench, with deep detail into what makes them them on a biological level. That I’d love to see for a more complete experience.
A question for @UnstableVoltage - Is it correct that the roadmap will be up in a few days?
It’s not impossible, but we certainly haven’t given any date for it yet. It’s connected to Canny, so it won’t be up until the dev team start to flag things in Canny. At the moment, the team is going through the list of requests along with their own backlog and planning which elements need to be prioritised.
EDIT: Typos. I really shouldn’t post from my phone.
@UnstableVoltage Thanks for the speedy reply
.
You now, community managers are people who you ask something if you have concerns. They are paid for it and should sometimes expect bit tougher questions.
Ok, I get it, you like to be treated badly. And you are ready to pay to be treated badly. FYI that’s called masochism . It’s ok, I respect your preferences. But please don’t expect from me to be that way.
Nope, I am complaining more about fun factor, bugs are normal. I am very disappointed with this game as it turned out to be quite the opposite of what I have been waiting for a long, long time. Some elements in PP works well, some are also interesting, but it won’t help because game is simply bad, feels dull and uninspiring. I’d really tried to like it and find entertainment in it like you but I can’t. And I know it’s my problem, oh well…
I also like few game’s mechanics but they’re dissolved because of many poor gameplay decisions being made. And among those many poor decisions those few mechanics feel nothing more than an…accident? A bit of luck? But I agree they deserve to be noticed and maybe copied later in other games.
Mod support can make game entertaining but shame it looks like the only solution for fixing it… And to be fixed it needs not only some rebalance works but a complete overhaul (in my opinion).
Really? I may have misunderstood what you meant, but surely accident and luck are not words to describe the three years of work that has gone into this game software project. There is some pedigree in the development team.
There is a HUGE lack of this (pedigree) to shine through … I love these kind of games, and have already spent many hours on this game - but also got lots of frustration in return. With the unbalance and many points of improvements suggested on the feedback Canny and the chatter I hear about discussions during Beta, I wonder who actually did what during those years.
Soo much room for improvement. Things already thought of. Things you could “steal” from XCOM. But at least not make a terrible game.
I don´t have time for this in my life. I am now very reluctant to ever Back a Kickstarter again, and I will never Back a Snapshot or JG-project again! unless this reaches so high claim that I will hear it praised from reliable soruces.
You already have my money, but you have lost all my trust!
indeed, when I read old posts I see many suggestions for improving the game. Offered great ideas. For example, initially many saw the problem in magic skills and stupid teleportations. Now the game is a clone of the latest “XCOM” with some interesting mechanics, the main of which is selective aiming. And although some people defend the game with a call to play NOT AS in XCOM it does not work. The game is boring. The game is monotonous: in missions, in tactics, in monsters. The game DOES NOT ENTERTAIN!
I repeat, previously they wrote to the developers that something is going wrong. But…
(sorry for my English).
I’m not saying that team wasn’t working hard to bring us at least decent game…So what if it didn’t help at all.
I use an “accident” and “luck” phrases on purpose because those few shining features existing in game are already lost among many bad decisions put into mechanics so they feel exactly like that: like accidents. I can’t believe how much this game is broken. And broken game isn’t worth playing, so no matter how much I love X-coms or appreciate JG for his previous works, It won’t affect my opinion on Phoenix Point.
So, is the feedback tool being used at all? So far I’ve seen only a bug squashed and that’s it…
Yes, the feedback tool is being used.
