Is there a big difference from choosing Mist Repelling?
One can choose either terraformers or mist repeller. The missions will be different, but one gets the repellers with either one.
Also you can steal mist repelling tech from synedrion, if they have finished the tech. So even you are enemy to Synedrion, you still get their techs, after they have researched it.
