Migrated from the steam forums have we?
Next you will be telling me that I’m a troll with a locked profile.
Well, you are hanging out at a forum for a game you have “moved on from” so…
Started a Legendary play, waited even 6, but finally decided to ignore them for later. But Rainer is right about different difficulty levels, but I don’t agree but for NJ hard (so to delay). Anu can turn to disaster or be pretty easy, bad idea to rush it. Syn is more doable of all three but yeah no need hurry and wait a team of 6 is fine.
Mechanicus is very good I warmly advise it but overall it is no way at range of some PP or XCOM1&2. But yeah it’s a game finished.
I agree but it’s nice to get some tactical game-play without it being a pointless slog you know your never going to finish. PP’s patches are not bringing the sort of improvements I was hoping for. The opposite in fact.
They seem intent on fixing everything that’s not broken.
I feel your pain, man. I agree that if the game difficulty is called “Easy” it should be easy.
The latest patch also shows that developers are aware of the “Easy” difficulty problem and are doing steps to improve the situation. I hope it would be fine sooner or later!
Wait some month, play some other games, and check to try again, wiser if the game go on your nerves or is a boredom to play.
I can’t explain fully how I can go over all the bugs and UI problems, but I hadn’t that much fun along a full campaign beside for few smaller indie games that can’t compete overall (Ultimate Space Commando, Storm Guard Darkness is Coming, Super Dungeon Tactics, Pathway and Templar Battleforce).
That said it’s nowhere the shock that was XCOM1 I started play with extensions because it’s been released on Mac only with extensions, had bought it before but didn’t started and after waited. And I’ll add because too many player argue the reverse, that XCOM2 is a lot better than XCOM1, it’s just not the same shock, XCOM1 was an alien game never seen before. And I add to be clear, than in PP I appreciate a lot that a ton of design orientation are opposed or different to XCOM1&2, not only are more fun for me, but often right in the way I was expecting it.
I will come back later I have a investment. For all it’s worth some of the ideas in PP are fantastic but sadly let down by the other stuff, games like this have a habit of transforming into something special, given time.
I admit, I hate to turn my back on PP but it must be done for now.
