Myrmidons can go to hell

They are just suicide units. If they could not dealt damage to create a danger, what would be the point to have them? You can lose an arm per mission. You should not win everything with full health. I mostly don’t get damage from scyllas even…

That is the source of so many balance issues, including Myrmidons. Because of lack of reliable threat since mid game they resort to “damage at all cost” enemies.

Just like I’ve said year ago or so. PP power creep and previous “arms race” with Pandorans (buff spiral) have led to that situation. It is very hard to provide new enemy without it being downright unfair in such way to provide a chalenge. It has to be, because otherwise it would be yet another trivial victim of combo/alpha strike. Just like Scylla is…

Not the arm, unless you have Synd vehicle OR engeener.

I have a bit trouble with this. Not all units have pistol proficiency, so simple arm injury leads to unit being unusable, only can heal others. Its hard to get engender and Synd vehicle rolling while many enemies can regenerate a limb in combat.

Other option is to mutate torso, loosing mid body armor options.

Not too many options to heal limbs, while limb damage being a great part of mechanic.

Why would it not heal over time, or special medikit introduced to heal in combat?

The issue is with losing the arm. Why it has to be majorly the arm? Why it can’t be the leg? It’s tiny it should nibble your feet not arms.

totally agree, way too many hitpoints for a bug and the damage they can do early is very nasty
