Yeah. Reading it can be really depressing if you take it too seriously. Remember that people throwing their opinions is actually good thing, not matter if its good or bad. You just need to calmly look at facts and arguments after which you analyze what is better. And game design is sometimes choosing lesser evil because you’re working in same framework.
Well, players judge differently. As a player you have no choice. Either you like the game or you don’t. If you like the game, don’t make it worse than it is.
Your cause and effect is off I think…
In gaming, players are the consumers. Devs are producers.
In a (relatively) free market, consumers dictate.
When/If consumers are vocal, in large enough quantities about your displeasure at a product, and it’s significant enough to impact profit, the producer is forced to respond and adjust course, or accept that they will lose profits.
It’s not “You STFU because you can’t change it”.
It’s “IF you STFU, then you can’t change it.”
And do you feel bad for your 40 euro investment or want your money back? What’s your problem? As I said, not everyone shares your opinion, can you live with it?
But what does it matter who shares whose opinion. We all have our own opinions to share.
Exactly, Easter and Christmas at the same time. Go ahead.
If someone likes it, I don’t see a problem. Like you shouldn’t look at critique in such way. It is there to help you, if someone wants it.
If I want to be the best in something I want to know what I’m doing wrong. Otherwise it’s just silly me doing someting wrongly over and over without any chance to improve.
There is no perfect game. Ever played “Darkest Dungeon”? The game requires a high learning curve from the beginning and is not for everybody. Nevertheless, the game is popular even if not suitable for beginners. What is the difference between PP and XCOM games? Not every criticism is valid and universal.
Yes. Done it.
What is the difference between PP and XCOM games?
I’m not sure what your opinion is. But please tell me. I’m always open to critique.
The greatest advantage comes from the skill. You have several possibilities to skill the way you like to play the game and you want to eliminate this wonderful possibility like XCOM, just as an example.
I don’t want to eliminate anything. If I’ve given such impression, then it was bad wording.
