Cursor Disappearing on UI for saving/quitting game

I had this problem when game first released, that my cursor would disappear and I would have to guess where it was to make the click… after patch, it was gone…Have not played for about a month, but loaded up…went ESC to bring up game UI…and cursor is invisible…I am assuming this not happening to others as no reports I am seeing the past month…any one got ideas how I can fix on my side?

Running on 2080 TI card with newest driver…any help appreciated!

Not that I think this is the reason but… if your save is old, try starting another game and see what happens.

So after investigating for numerous hours… (sorry I would thought someone here would save me that agonizing search)…I came upon how to do a win10 rebuild that brought the cursor back.

Interesting, I’ve had corrupted .net files in the past that I found with the dism tool. Was your problem with .net files? The game uses .net, so that could be the cause. Don’t know why it got corrupted in a windows update, though.

I am unsure…First time I have used the tool…I pasted every thing it told me. How would I differentiate .net files?

I don’t remember exactly sorry… it either displayed the culprit or I found it in a log file. I was following a step-by-step and it probably told me where to find the log files.
