If we choose to not fight against a Pandora attack to a Phoenix Point base, all the soldiers in that base still alive and intact.
Imo they should die and the base become infested forcing player to do a mission to clean and recover it again.
Why should the soldiers die? They know about the incoming attack beforehand so… “he who chickens and runs away lives to fight another day” so to say))
They can surely even evacuate some of the most valuable equipment if they decide not to defend the base… However I agree that the base can become infested forcing to do a mission to clean and recover.
Plus a rescue soldier site for the chickens
