You donât need more. But additional ones can be useful.

I tried and it looked like they died. Although after that the game crashed, so maybe it workedâŚ

By the way is it possible to manufacture a vehicle and still creating other non instant things in between?
It cut research and production time by half for each next facility no matter in which base they are. When you loose base then those times go back to previous speed.
From what I know, not. There is still one production queue for all bases. I hope it will change, and each base will act separately doing itâs own research and production.

I think devs have plans about that separate production, some times when I manufacture few things in a row ,having more then one plant, UI is showing for example two or three items manufacturing (time go down). But in final I still get only first one in queue.
