yeah, every time i quit the game the exe file just gets deleted and i need to extract the zip again…it happened a lot and i thought that other people might’ve encountered this problem too but i saw nothing about it in the discord server or the forums…so yeah, does anyone here know why is that happening…?

other than that, the build’s freaking great.
It could be that you are double clicking the game inside the zip file itself, causing windows to extract the files it needs into a temp folder to run them. If so try opening the zip file, copying the contents to a new folder and then running the game from this new folder. That should fix the problem.
Do you run an antivirus? Because antiviruses tends to think .exe files are malware and put them in quarantine.
tried turning it off, didn’t seem to change anything
