I remember before the patch when I got the “Gift” I had 2 aircraft, but now after the patch this “Gift” made my previous aircraft disappear, in other words it replaced it, and moved my personnel onto the “Gift”, not sure if this is by design or what not, as it appeared at my base after I finished the mission, and I can no longer find my original aircraft.
This was always the case in the original game. The premise of The Gift is that your arrival airship is lost to the violent destruction going on and you have to make it to the new craft.
Terror from the Void changed this and gives the new ship while also keeping the original one.
