There shouldn’t be any difference in accuracy. Both shooting modes (snap aim and manual aim) use the same bullet spread system. The only difference is that manual aim sets a direction (if enemy animation takes place, the aim will not adjust possibly decreesing chances of shooting the enemy), while snapaim aims at the centre of mass of the enemy and tracks it - so even if his animation moves, the reticule should adjust. .

If there was a “steady aim” button (like in Long War), I guess it could decrease the radius of the targeting circles.
