Agreed that Return Fire needs a second look. It should perhaps only proc once a turn or activate once the attacker has returned to cover. Also agree that having to focus-fire weapons as crowd control isn’t a particularly satisfying mechanic. There’s probably other types of CC methods gated behind rep research? I haven’t played a Synedrion campaign yet.
