So I am playing, explore, and acquire a new Phoenix Point base. The base layout had 3 gray tiles surrounding an available corner slot. Because it was not open for making a building as I found it and there is no slot near then would activate it. This slot became unusable. Is there a way to build in that corner slot?
Nope, you have to have an adjacent slot to build in it. I believe this is because if you placed an important building in the slot, it would be impossible to damage during base assaults.
I’ve had worse, too.
I do wonder if it’s possible for the RNG to make a base with the vehicle bay in the corner, completely surrounded by rocks, making the base essentially useless.
