Medical Kits and Poison

Hi -

It appears that the Medical Kit doesn’t cure poison. When I have used the kit, it only restores health points. I think I recall in the original X-Com, one had to choose to restore health, cure poison, or cure panic.

Is there a cure for being poisoned in the game?

there currently is no cure for poison in the game. I suspect that it will be one of the research options once that system is in place.

Good to know. It was a little frustrating to use the Med Kit only to see one’s health continue to go down.

No, you have cure panic (only from dmg), close the Wound (you get some hp for every wound closed) and cure stun in the old X-COM. I still play it, trust me.
