That is my point: I don’t find it fun, but I can win.
Don’t get me wrong, I agree with almost every argument in this thread and I could (and did, many times) post even more “bad” design decisions. I just do not agree with conclusion that game is unbeatable. You just play the game wrong way because balance is shifted towards OP skills and classes. If you don’t play around OP combinations you will struggle, badly (winning game without OP combinations is considered a self-imposed restriction and “challenge mode”). I wish the game balance was different, but it isn’t and never will be.
Ok the game can be won by some and I understand what you are saying by trying different methods and increasing OP skills and classes, something I have been doing. And your right that the balance will never be different. Those of us who have posted the negative and what many of us feel are poor game design can only hope that when ( and I am sure they will ) Phoenix Point comes out with another game our negative postings will be taken under consideration and a better game will be the outcome. Thanks for trying to help those of us who need it.
