So overwriting my original post the problem is a crash, not a hang. If I leave it long enough instead of hitting Alt+F4 the game crashes. If I play at 2560x1440 it crashes after a few minutes. I can’t even complete one battle. Then if I play at 1920x1080 it works fine. I played for a couple of hours last night with no worries. The main thing I got out of the crash log was this: nvwgf2umx.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005) in module nvwgf2umx.dll at 0033:fff8e201. nvwgf2umx.dll is in a subfolder of System32 so I didn’t think it was safe to mess with. Anyone have any idea what could be done about this?
Specs: Ryzen 5 3600
Nvidia 1080Ti
16GB RAM
Windows 10
Windows, game and drivers are up to date at time of posting. Running the game at 2560x1440 max settings. I’ve reinstalled the game, removed and reinstalled GPU drivers with DDU.
Update: It’s crashing at 1080p now as well on one of the missions in the Pure storyline. I’ve clean installed the drivers again, it’s not making a difference.
