Yeye You are right, there are a few options. I can admit that I jumped the gun on that particular topic. I was just frustrated that my plan (using Priests and Viral weapons) totally failed since they are immune to virus weapons and I tried to do them too early.
However, I’m not too far off. You talk about Boom Blast which is the epitome of Range, even bypassing their shields. I specifically argue that medium range weapons are not exactly a good option compared to alternatives like Range or Melee when abusing the bionic torso. It’s not the end of the world, especially considering that this content seems to be meant to be played when you already potentially won the main game - but coupled with numerous other shortcomings it is a frustration factor for me.
Also PDW’s are clearly way over the top
