Most things are already planned out from an early stage. There may be some finer details missing or some room for tweaks, but generally a major mechanic (especially one that certain other game mechanics and principles rely on) isn’t generally going to change.
We do listen to player feedback and if we spot a valid concern we do look into that. However, quite a lot of feedback and suggestions from players tends to be based on their own personal preferences. We also understand that players do not have access to the complete design document, so while some player suggestions might seem like a good idea on paper, they often don’t mesh with other systems and mechanics that we have planned.
