Incorrect. At the hight of its price (Epic release) the game was being sold for $39.99. $79.99 if you want to pre-purchase 5DLCs which will be released over next two years. Pricey, perhaps but not outrageous for a mid tier game.
I wouldn’t argue that price was high, and I definitely don’t envy anyone who bought into PP during Epic release. I don’t believe game should have been released as 1.0.
But why bring it now? Game won’t suddenly become prettier, because someone was foolish enough to pay a premium price for a subpar product.
