Would it be possible for troops to have some ammo clips stored in the APC? If they run out they could enter and load up with a basic load out of clips etc.

They shouldn’t have to enter if they’re just retrieving ammo. Side compartments on the APC could open up, deploying racks from the hull that act like crates, letting soldiers take items from the vehicle.
