# Scroll-wheel camera controls inverted

Feels slightly counter intuitive (and unorthodox) that scrolling forwards zooms out and scrolling backwards zooms in.

The scroll wheel doesn’t control zoom. The scroll wheel change terrain level. Zoom is controlled with T and G. But you already knew this, because you read it on the first page of the game guide 😉

Yes, tbh I did figure out it was configured that way so that scroll up moves up through levels and scroll down moves down through levels (when there are levels to scale), it just still felt like the control should be inverted.
