NJ & Synedrion first missions are difficult (already were in BB5). The opposition takes multiple shots to go down and wields punishing weapons. That’s why a Youtuber playing legendary left them for later ;op.

On my first nest mission two of my assaults got grenaded to death in a single turn. Damn crabbie just stood still, lunched two successive gredades at my two guys, while a third was getting face-hugged.
