# About game launcher

Is there no way to get my game updated to BB4 with Snapshot Launcher but I must download and sign-into the epic game store?

I that is a yes, then I guess I can really say goodbye to this game.

The Snapshot launcher is no longer used. The Epic Games launcher is required for Backer Build 4 and above.

Unless you don’t want to wait for a game on PC to come back to Steam or GOG or you have XBOX then you probably don’t have other choice.
