I will have to double check, but I believe there will be a tutorial. X-Com UFO and TftD were back in the day where games used to come with a big, thick, printed manual.

Makes sence but I do enjoy the challenge its just hard when it's so open ended creating bases and what to research I w I know some of the game is you finding Luton your own but but sometimes it's not fun when I blow all my money on stuff that's trash

You can still have both. Just with a thick, PDF manual.

If anyone really cares, I would like a minimal tutorial.  Just enough you get you started.  The joy and beauty of the first playthrough of a systems driven game with lots of fun toys inside is discovering how everything works.  Say for instance, "I didn't know that I could run over my own soldiers with the ATC ... goodbye, beloved soldier with my namesake,"

I agree with the author! I would like to get a tutorial as well. I guess, it will help me to master the game quckier! I hope there will be any lesson! Thank you in advance!

I think if it was a choice between the two I'd actually prefer a manual. There was always something nice about old games when you could go away read about what you had to do before or during playing.

One thing to note with any tutorial btw, I think in the case of PP that players will be expecting a tutorial which is scripted and that leads the player through an initial mission in the same vein as X-com and other TBS. I'd be really careful about doing something other than this, even though I'd personally prefer a manual, and I'd definitely avoid the Chaos Reborn style tutorial system where players could die during tutorial missions.
