ok so before the fig goal for floating base was 850,000. but we did not make that goal while the fig was running. but after that because of preorders we got up to 1 million in funding. i'm wondering if snap shot was panning anyway to add floating base when we got to 850,000 or were not planning to at all and when we just got to 1,000,000 they wanted to give us something.

Disclamar: if they were not planning at add it on at 850k that's fine i'm just wondering if we only need to get another 200k to get underwater missions.

Read Here, they already answered this kind of question.

they clarified that it was not paid dlc not what goal started them allowing the floating base.

The original intention was that pre-orders would count towards unmet stretch-goals, but only up until a certain point. Any stretch-goals which we didn't meet were considered for DLC/Expansions later down the line. The cut-off for pre-orders counting towards those stretch goals has now passed.

We would still like to add the underwater missions at some point in the future, but currently, no decision has been made on whether this will be free or a paid expansion.

Paid expansion is fine really.

Same I just wanted to know if it was a possibility to get them as free dlc I'm really looking forward to this game and can't wait to play it.

Out of curiosity, if we upgrade our pledges in January would that count towards the Underwater Missions?

Since the quote system is messed up - Below is my reply:

I would be fine if it was a paid expansion as well! But underwater levels are something that is massively missing from games these days. If the only way to get them into this game is a paid expansion, I am sure many of us would not mind paying for it.

Wow, I get a down vote because either (A) stated I would be fine paying for underwater stuff later on... or ...

(B) mentioning that the quote system is messed up.

When I choose quote it copies their post, and puts mine right along with it. With absolutely no separation, or distinction. You can see examples of it above.

Either way the down vote is ludicrous.

Don't give up on the underwater stuff. Many of us would gladly pay a little extra to get it properly even if post launch.

Well, it wasn't me that gave the downvote.

The quote system is a bit odd. I had some issues working it out myself. I don't know how well it works on mobile, but on desktop, just start a new like after the quote and then de-select the "blockquote" button at the top of the text box (it's the last icon before 'paragraph' and looks like open quote marks “ )
